Our family was due for a treat but at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is hover near the stove, waiting to pull cookies out every few minutes. Luckily, I keep this extremely quick and simple recipe handy to satisfy our chocolate cravings.

1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup crushed graham crackers
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Spread in a 9×9 pan. Melt half a bag (about 6 oz) of chocolate chips in the microwave for thirty seconds, stirring and returning to the microwave for thirty seconds until smooth. Spread evenly over the top of the peanut butter mixture.
Refrigerate for thirty minutes or until the chocolate is set. Cut into squares. Store in the refrigerator.
