chick4-1099591 Somehow my mom ended up with twenty chicks.  They range in breed from buff orphintons to production reds to Easter eggers.  Seeing as she only wanted about eight, some of these lucky birds are going to come live with us!

A flock of chickens does the same thing whether in someone’s backyard or roaming the countryside–scratch for food!

With a comb like that, this big guy is most likely a rooster.  He’ll definitely be making himself comfortable at our house.
