Claire chose to make these for family night treat and I was happy to oblige. Not only were they quick and full of peanut butter (one of my favorites!), I didn’t even have to turn on the oven to make them. They remind me of the new Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Cups and were such a yummy treat!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces plus 2 Tablespoons
3/4 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
Line an 8×8 inch pan with aluminum foil and set aside. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix together butter, graham cracker crumbs, sugars, and peanut butter. When well-combined, stir in 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces. Pour into the lined pan. In a microwaveable bowl, melt peanut butter and chocolate in one-minute intervals, until smooth. Pour over the peanut butter mixture and smooth out. Place remaining Reese’s Pieces over the top. Refrigerate for an hour (or stick in the fridge if you’re in a big hurry). When ready to serve, pull out aluminum foil and cut into squares. Double recipe and put in a 9×13 inch pan if serving a large crowd!
