If you’re like me, it’s hard not to lick off the beaters after making a batch of delicious chocolate chip cookie dough. So, here’s a solution to eating raw eggs–eggless cookie dough. Use it as an ice cream topping or snack on it plain (if you’re having one of those days, haha!). The dough can also be shaped into cookies and baked up though I won’t pretend they’re the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Still, they’ll hit the spot.
Ingredients:
5 Tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Combine butter, sugars and salt. Add in vanilla. Blend in flour a little at a time until incorporated. Finally, add the chocolate chips.
If you’d like to bake them up, shape into balls and put in a 350F oven for about 8 minutes–do not over bake. They should still be slightly soft when pulled from the oven and removed to a wire rack or paper sack to cool.
