With the “official” commencement of summer starting with the first genuine s’more last Saturday, we have really been feeling the heat since. It’s been in the 90’s every day and at the zoo, even the animals agreed that it’s too hot.
The red panda straddled the tree branch and panted.
The tiger took a dip in his pool and roared his frustration.
The gibbons sprawled out on the rocks.
The walruses refused to leave the water.
And the elephants dove right in trying to cool off.
The only one who seemed to enjoy the heat was a Komodo dragon out for a walk.
And these girls.
They’re staying cool.
