The girls have long wanted to go fishing to actually catch a fish. This past Friday, we were actually successful!

| Claire’s catch. |
We went to a small pond on the outskirts of Plainfield and sunk a few hooks, not expecting to catch much. There were obviously smaller blue gills and sunfish swimming near the banks so we decided to snag them and save trying for the bigger ones another time.

Three fish later, the girls were satisfied with their evening fish although I’m sure we’ll be heading out again soon!
