If there’s one thing I am, it’s a popcorn connoisseur. I’ll eat it in any form and I’ve begun mastering making lots of different varieties, from crunchy caramel corn to marshmallow popcorn balls. The latest in my repertoire of popcorn production is homemade cheese popcorn. Holy cow. We’re in trouble. It was so easy and the kids loved it as much as I did…we’re never going back to storebought. 🤤
Ingredients:
6 cups popcorn (here’s how I make it on the stovetop–no microwave bags here!)
3 Tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup cheese powder (here’s the one we use)
Put popcorn in a large brown paper shopping bag. Drizzle the butter over the top, close the bag and shake. Then sprinkle the powder over the top, close the bag and shake again until popcorn is coated. Serve immediately.
